You can publish information concerning Finnish language courses on the finnishcourses.fi course search service if the courses take place in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa or Kauniainen. Information on courses that are organised in other municipalities cannot be posted on our service.
The training organisation must specify a contact person for the Info Bank editorial team and allocate resources to update the information on the Finnish language courses provided by the organisation (these tasks can be handled by a single person). A requirement for posting course information is that the person in charge of updating the course information takes part in user training and that the name of the organisation is provided to the Info Bank editorial team in English and Russian (if available) along with a concise description of the Finnish language courses for translation purposes. The description must list the following information:
-
What is the level of the courses?
-
In which municipalities are the courses held?
-
What is the target group if the courses are targeted at a specific group of people?
-
If there is something unique about the course selection, what is it? Information should only pertain to self-motivated Finnish language courses. Possible labour market training can also be mentioned.
-
What is the registration or application period?
The updater of the course information must possess the necessary information on the Finnish language course: for example, the starting and target levels, the course location, the contact information of the student adviser, etc. The course application service is not to be used for publishing information concerning labour market training, other courses directed at immigrants or discussion groups.
The training organisation undertakes to maintain its own information up-to-date in the finnishcourses.fi course application service and, as necessary, to advise our customers on how to register for the courses.
More information is available at service maintenance on page How to post course information? or by contacting the Info Bank editorial team.
